Morning Sickness Continues

We're at week 9 and the morning sickness is no better. There was a time there in week 8 when I thought: "Halleluiah!, I am healed. I can finally eat." But I was wrong. It lasted about a day or two then morphed into something a little different.

These days, instead of feeling sick all the time, I only feel sick every two hours. Apparently, it is my signal to feed. And yes, it can be nothing but a "feeding" because there is no joy in it. I have stuck to the bland food diet, but I am actually more functional now. I can even cook and prepare food these days. And every once in a while I get cravings for something. Yesterday, it was fried tilapia. I've been thinking about it for days, and finally, it was Saturday morning and we can go to Rico's for lunch and he can make me my fish. I ordered it with the garlic fried rice. It was fantastic while I had it, but inevitably, as with most of my cravings, immediately after having it, I would feel ill. Brushing my teeth helps to get rid of the nausea so I am now brushing my teeth every two hours.

It's weird. Most of the time I can't taste anything but at the same time I seem to be hypersensitive to salt.
